I am a certified Massage Therapist that graduated from Apollo College. I hold an Idaho State License. I have been practicing massage body work for almost seven years. I encourage all of my clients to be active participants in their healing process and as a practitioner I bring balance and harmony to the mind, body and spirit through particular breathing techniques and my nurturing and therapeutic touch. I am passionate about the positive effects of therapy on the body and mind. I can provide an invigorating sports massage for fatigued, sore muscles post-workout. I can also work with you on injury rehabilitation, assist in the relief of migraines and tension-related headaches or help you forget about life stresses for an hour with a relaxation focused treatment. I encourage everyone to try massage therapy at least once that way you can decide whether or not massage body work is for you. ↑
Growing up, I never in a million years thought that I would be a massage therapist, but two years ago that all changed and I moved from Twin Falls to Boise to pursue my new dream. I attended Carrington College in 2012. Since graduating, I have worked in a spa atmosphere and also a chiropractors office. During my time in the massage field, I have grown confident in my massage techniques and my ability to give quality, client-specific massages. ↑

His blended style is productive and specific, specializing in swedish massage and deep tissue with detailed training in neck, shoulders, hands, and feet. When not working, his passions include: acting, hiking, travel and learning new things whenever possible. He tries to make sure that each client leaves with their pain and stress alleviated and their body revived. ↑

I graduated in November of 2000, having had 900 plus hours of schooling. Which included a hands on massage Clinic. Also including 242 hours of Aromatherapy in February 2001. I was trained to do different types of massage like: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, and Trigger Point Massage. Having worked for a Chiropractor for 9 years, I am also experienced with Injury Massage. I love to give every kind of massage. But I would say Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, and Injury Massage would be my strengths. ↑
Carlos Matutes is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Holistic Health Practitioner specializing in Tui Na, Shiatsu, Athletic and Swedish Massage. Educated at the world-renowned Mueller College of Holistic Studies in San Diego, Carlos received his degree in Asian Therapies in 2005.
Carlos is also a certified Health and Nutrition Coach, studying with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
Balancing the hard sciences of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology with Traditional Chinese Medicine, this program gave Carlos a thorough understanding and appreciation of the human body. Carlos’ passion for holistic health began with a love of cycling. Recently, he became a Certified Schwinn Indoor Cycling Instructor so that he can help his clients with off-season fitness and sports-specific conditioning. Additionally, he holds a TRX Certified Group Exercise Instructor designation. TRX is a suspension training system that builds core strength, flexibility and stamina.
While it is important to find relaxation and "de-stress" during a bodywork session, Carlos' main focus is to help people achieve optimal health and wellness. He uses various techniques such as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)- based bodywork- Tui Na, Acupressure, Shiatsu and Thai Massage. These modalities utilize pressure from the fingers, hands, forearms and elbows to treat imbalances in the body, and to help alleviate structural issues. Although relaxing, TCM- based bodywork leaves you energized, and ready to take on the rest of your day.
For athletes, weekend warriors, and even the gardening guru, therapeutic athletic massage is just what you need. Focusing on trouble spots, more vigorous work is done to loosen knots, spasms, and stiffness.
Carlos is married to Daniella and they live in Boise. An avid mountain biker and cyclist for over 20 years, Carlos has a deep respect and intimate knowledge of the physical commitment that athletic performance demands. He is an avid competitor in a wide variety of sports including: road, track, and cyclocross racing, ultra-endurance mountain bike events, Rugby, ice hockey, rock climbing, mountaineering, yoga, kendo, fencing, and enjoys TRX and Kettlebell workouts. ↑

I was born and raised in Southern California. I relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada to pursue my construction career as a Structural Ironworker. During this time I sustained a work injury, where I would be introduced to physical therapy and massage during my time of rehabilitation. I soon attended Massage school at Northwest Health Careers Las Vegas, Nevada. My massage career has led me into various industries from resorts, medical, geriatric, and rehab. I truly believe to master your craft you must keep learning and be knowledgeable of it. ↑

I have recently come to massage therapy. I have always been interested in the body and what it is capable of. Massage is a way that I can care for others and help fix things that have gone awry. My approach is kind of an everything bagel massage. I liken massage to flossing. Even after the best dental visit you are going to eat and get your food in your teeth. After the best massage in the world, chances are, you will go back out and live life again. Sometimes you just need someone to help get the gunk out. While MyoFly is my youngest child and I like to baby her, I also enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. I'm up for anything at anytime. Life's my game and I like to play it. ↑
